A Glimpse of Kirat Bayung Rai's Segro/Hang Sili

Faramo(Udhauli) is the season of Sari lecho (ancestor worshipping) ritual of the Bayung Rai. At the same time, the Bayung Rai worship their ancestors. The villages of Bayung are busy conducting the rituals.
The Nagle is compulsorily worshiped in every house of the Bayung Rai. It is a small method of worshiping the ancestor worshipping rituals. Apart from this, Segro (Hang), Tam, Tumatam, Chidam, and Malimi Nagle are also worshiped.
In this
winter or Udhauli, The Segro (Hang) was worshipped at the house of Chandra Bdr Byung Rai at Janteru, Necha Salyan Rural Municipality-1. This was
conducted on Magh 25-28 of 2081 BS. The Segro (Hang) is the greatest ancestor-worshipping
ritual of the Bayung Rai.
